I tested Codebreaker, and again, no connection. Did Codebreaker shut down/withdraw support or something? My console is a scph-5001 I think, so bascially I'm good to go.

I managed to do what was suggested, and it worked. The only problem is that for some odd reason, when I put in a disc, it won't load the game. I was able to fix this by turning the tray eject option to 'on.' I can understand the entire need to refresh the TOC, but why does the tray need to be ejected now, when before it didn't really matter?

Also, if it helps any, I modded my console to use a flip top (which explains why I don't want it to eject ie. Because the tray just won't), and I also use HDLoader, so as to play directly from the hard drive, because yes, loading screens are annoying. However, as stated earlier, it's not just HDLoader that won't boot when you choose to start the game via codebreaker, but also any other official PS2 games I put into it. So, one problem fixed, only to wind up with another problem that's equally infuriating.se la vie.
